okay- time to post something...

we need a new blog entry. here's a satellite picture taken from space of washington dc. it happened to be the nasa picture of the day. it was taken may 6, 2006. i go into the city at least 2 times a week, mostly on the weekends.

Happy Christmas!

i'm really excited about coming home next week! i hope we can all have a great time talking and laughing together. make sure we take a lot of pictures this year!

i had a good time with john and nikki. (they came here to visit and go to a friend's wedding in baltimore) friday night we ate at bilbo baggins. no joke! it's always nice to have family in my part of the world.

i can't wait to see a real christmas tree! my family didn't put one up because they won't be home over christmas. so the only decorations are these in my room:

today eli and i were playing super heroes. one of his spidermans was particularly flexible, so i decided to have fun with it.

My trip to Salt Lake City

For those of you who didn't know, I was in Salt Lake City this past weekend for a conference. The conference was for NODA (National Orientation Directors Association). We stayed in an awesome hotel called the Grand America:

I also got to see the Temple (though we couldn't go inside because it is under renovation):
It was beautiful! Anyway, I just wanted to share those with everyone.

This weekend (actually Sunday-Tuesday) I have another conference to go to - in Columbus. I would offer to get together with those of you who live there, but we don't tend to get much free time at these things.

I want to wish Ben a happy belated birthday! I thought about Ben's birthday every time I wrote the date yesterday (which is lot, since I have to sign a lot of documents), but never got around to posting something. I hope you had a great day, Ben!
